  I have been coming here for years and can't believe I had never written a review. So here it is....
  
  This is THE BEST, place for margaritas period. I'm willing to fully fund and host a blind taste test with any local Mexican food restaurant or bar in the triangle. Someone clearly spent a ton of time in bar soaked socks coming up with these recipes. Desert fire is the must have if you like spicy smoky flavors.  It if your not grab a Basil lime. I have had all of them. Prickly pear margarita should be your dessert.
  
  They also have some pretty darn good tacos. Salmon Vera Cruz is great as well as the Fajitas. Basically you pretty much can't go wrong.

  My opinion is mine not yours...
  
  Decor is relaxing
  The drink specials throughout the week
  
  The waitress I had was extremely friendly knowledgeable about the menu items
  
  Food
  Queso was not for me mine wasn't as not as I would want. It has a very smoky rich flavor
  
  Guacamole had a good balance with the chips that were served
  
  Island taco  were flavorful but had a great amount of pineapple (good to me)
  
  Shrimp and grits were rich and creamy with a subtle sweet....I would order it again
  
  The Maui Maui was tender and nicely prepared. The coconut shrimp rice that came with it was delicious. I could eat the rice by itself honestly!
  
  I definitely can't wait to make plans to go back!

  If I could give 10 stars I would. Met the owner Ken very nice this is a family husband and wife business. I had the complimentary salsa and chips, queso and steak burrito everything was awesome one of the best meals I have eaten everything was so flavorful.

  I've been here 3 times now for 3 totally different reasons (family night, date, girls night) and the experience has always been so great! Our service and experience tonight was definitely worth writing about. We went around 8 on a Friday and they got us right in and we were able to sit outside like we wanted too.
  
  The food and drinks are ALWAYS so fresh and awesome. I usually get the tacos because there's so many different flavors. The only 2 things I have as complaints is you can't mix and match so you're paying about $12 for 3 tacos and they're all the same BUT the flavors are so phenomenal it ends up being ok. My other issue isn't a big one but I'm doing a low carb diet so I asked for lettuce wraps instead of tortillas and the lettuce was so small I had to eat my tacos with a fork anyway because the food wouldn't stay in the taco haha but again, the taste was there so who really cares?
  
  Our waitress tonight was Jessica and she was so awesome! Super personable and knowledgeable about the menu. One of my friends has a food allergy and she made her feel comfortable about eating there which is so important! I was also so impressed that she acknowledged we were a little slow to get some of our food but she had a lot of tables and really made up for it. I hate when servers pretend you haven't been waiting forever. Hey, we're all human man just be honest!
  
  Overall, great experience as usual and I'll be back with more people. I have dreams about that queso rice
